My neighbors commented time and again on how polite the crews were,
how respectful they were of the neighborhood environment, and how
clean the site always appeared. I agree and since we lived in the house
as it was being remodeled and added on to, it was a great relief to have
the place very livable at every stage of construction. In the end, our
project resulted in a wonderful union of the existing house with some
remodeled space and a large addition. The quality of the work is clearly
evident and Andy’s "team" is to be commended for their consistent
attention to detail and to high standards of work. I would be glad to

You and your crew lived your
motto, "We never forget it’s your home", in
every way. You’ve been sensitive to our privacy, kept us informed about
when you would arrive and leave each day, and kept the construction
area clean and clear of debris. Because we’ve been living here for the
last seven months, this has been very important........We were very short
on storage space and you identified creative ways to carve out storage
rooms........You are very sensitive to building "green". You
recommended effective insulation, double-paned windows and doors,
appropriate lighting fixtures, and whenever possible took our old
materials to recycling centers........We appreciate the fact that you and
your staff continue to attend classes on conservation practices........Your
lead carpenter was extremely professional and pleasant to work with.
Any concern or question we had was answered to the best of his ability,
and if he didn’t have an answer, he had it the next time we talked. Finally,
you earned our trust-something which is very critical to a project like
this. We would certainly consider your firm again. |

Andy is one of those few contractors
who take the time to completely understand the scope of a project before
beginning. He studied the documents of the project we designed and asked
questions to insure he understood our intent. When Andy began construction,
I was confident he and his subcontractores understood the design and construction
requirements. It was a pleasure to work with Andy and all his subcontractors.
They all had the same goal: to do their highest quality work. The finished project

The remodel was difficult, as our
house is built into a hillside and the
dimensions were not continuously even from one point of a room to
another. Andy worked closely with out architect to insure all sight lines
were accurate and that the perspective was perfect. During the course of
the remodel, Andy brought in about a half-dozen subcontractors and
supervised them well to insure that all the work was done to
specifications......The finished project is magnificent – truly worthy of
"Architectural Digest". Everyone who has seen the remodel has given it
nothing but raves; one real estate professional stated it was the best
remodel of a house built into a hillside that he had ever seen. We give
Andy an unqualified recommendation. His attention to detail is
meticulous. For anyone thinking of hiring Andy as their contractor, we
will be happy to show our remodel; a superb example of his work. |
